Senior I-485 Immigration Paralegal / Case Manager
Full-time / Part-time / ContractRemote · U.S. or China-based · reports to our New York office
Built for someone who can start carrying cases in week one — not week twelve.
What You Will Do
- Own employment-based and family-based I-485 adjustment cases end to end — document collection, package assembly, filing, and follow-up
- Handle EB-5 I-485 matters, including concurrent and related adjustment filings
- Prepare the associated I-765 and I-131 filings
- Respond to I-485 RFEs and manage cases after filing
- Communicate directly with Mandarin-speaking clients on their own cases
- Spot issues early, chase what is missing, and carry a case without waiting to be asked
What We Look For
- Substantial hands-on I-485 experience — enough to run an active caseload from day one
- Fluent or native Mandarin, and strong written and spoken English
- Three or more years at a U.S. immigration law firm preferred
- Precise with detail and reliable on deadlines
- Comfortable owning cases with light supervision
- Background as a senior immigration paralegal, immigration case manager, or senior immigration specialist is a plus

- Compensation: US$35–45 per hour, depending on experience

What You Will Do
- Legal strategy and analysis
- Attorney review
- Risk assessment
- Client legal consultation
- Calls and video meetings where the matter needs them
- Final legal opinions
- Reviewing and signing legal documents where the applicable rules permit

- AI Native — fluent with mainstream AI tools for legal research and drafting, and able to turn that into real speed
- Excellent Reviewer — spots the risk and fixes the legal logic; we are not asking anyone to write forty pages from a blank page

What You Will Do

What We Look For
