Dr. Chen is a partner at Liu, Chen & Hoffman LLP (AMBIZLAW), specializing in patent portfolio development and management, patent licensing transactions, and IP litigation. He holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from CUNY. Dr. Chen has drafted hundreds of U.S. and PCT patent applications and managed prosecution of thousands of international applications, including reexaminations, reissues, and appeals. He has extensive patent litigation experience in e-commerce, semiconductors, telecommunications, software, and medical devices, and is skilled in freedom-to-operate studies and IP due diligence.
