Wangpeng An is the Chief Technology Officer of The Peng Law. A Tsinghua-trained deep-learning specialist with an M.S. in Control Engineering, he previously served as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Instacart, a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at TikTok, a Computer Vision Engineer at Facebook AI Research (FAIR), and a Senior Research Engineer at AiFi — over a decade building large-scale AI systems in multimodal LLMs, visual recognition and automation, including a content-understanding system processing 300 million videos a day and a recognition model covering more than 300,000 SKUs.
At the firm he leads The Peng Law's AI-powered legal operations and technology platform: the intelligent case-management system, document automation and the knowledge-base platform, built to make a complex immigration filing faster, more transparent and more reliable.
His work earned a CVPR 2018 Spotlight, was featured at AWS re:Invent 2024 and is protected by a U.S. patent. He serves as a reviewer for TPAMI, CVPR, ECCV and ICCV.
